Going Home Tomorrow
Morgan continues to improve and is now talking my ear off and dancing in the hall. Well, maybe not dancing but it surely feels like it after everything he has been through. He is just happy to be alive. He keeps saying how he just feels all the positive vibrations and I am truly grateful for all the love, good wishes, and kind support. Today has been busy as they monitor him and work on his discharge plan. He has seen and received instructions from the: cardiologist, infectious diseases doctor, physician assistant, patient navigator, case manager, hospitalist, occupational therapist, physical therapist, nurse, nurse's assistant and me. Good thing I was taking notes. He will remain until tomorrow just for monitoring and then head home.

That is great to hear. I don't mean the visual I have of him dancing, but that he is headed out the door. We can't wait to see him soon.
ReplyDeleteHe is still dancing even though they told him he had to stay a while longer. BTW ask him about how exciting it is to have a roommate who winds up having an intestinal infectious disease. This was his ticket to a private room but what a hard way to get one!
