Delayed Trip Home

Getting home late so I'll just give a quick update. Things were looking good for Morgan to head home today but there was some evidence of thrombosis on an echo cardiogram (although interestingly not on a followup CT) so  it was decided to keep him overnight. They will repeat the echo cardiogram tomorrow, consult the other cardiologists and then make a decision about discharge. He is cleared as far as everything else goes. I am glad that he is staying to make sure that he is totally ready to head home, but disappointed it didn't happen today. We are all tired and ready for a break (and I still haven't gotten a good run in!) but it is worth it to continue the excellent care he is receiving and get through this issue. Worst case scenario is that he will need to continue heparin treatment until the clot is clear. We are still just going day by day and trusting things are all just working toward the good.
