I have gotten to the hospital, and am waiting on the doctors to make their rounds. Per our nurses, his blood pressure is stabilized and they have begun turning off the sedation. The next step is for the doctors to evaluate him and decide to remove the intubation. That would be the last major intervention for an acute issue and pave the way to having him be less hooked up overall. I will try to get another update up around lunchtime after speaking to the doctors.
